He is the fisherman age 60, an alcoholic  who smokes heavily. He has fished all of his life and his parents passed the boat down to him. He is always drunk because he lost his family except for his son, Gorgio. His wife died in childbirth and that is why he resents his son. 

He is a fisherman like his Dad and Grandad. He is quite smart and wanted to go to university but they couldn’t afford it. He wanted to study marine life and reads about it constantly. He is 19 , quite shy and has never had a girlfriend.

Tall, popular and outgoing and aged 20. He is good at sport and into rugby and American football. His girlfriend is Ellena and he is best mates with Tyrique. He is confident but unempathic. He comes from a wealthy family, always has the latest gadgets, is not that smart and a bit of a bully. 

Tall, athletic, black ethnicity and age 17. He plays American football and his father is his hero (who was a former player) but he dominates his son and doesn't show him much love. He is gay but hasn't told anyone including Brad and is shy around people. 

Very popular, super chatty and quite annoying. Always on social media where she gets a lot of her news and gets very agitated when disconnected from the web. She comes from a poor background and sees Brad as a ticket to a better life. She is intelligent but doesn’t like showing that in front of Brad and is very subservient towards him.

Very nerdy, like his sister, who is into engineering of any sort. He can fix most things and his bedroom looks like a junkyard. He is secretly in love with Ellena but would never say a word to her because he is too shy. 

Nerdy braces and glasses, not attractive but very intelligent. She loves science is into horticulture and has a pet guineapig called George. Twins with Callum, both are very alike, coming from a wealthy background with parents who are doctors and spend little time with them. She loves marine life.
